Beverly Hills Jewish Community Synagogue is pleased to present Rosh Hashanah services at The Maybourne Beverly Hills since 2023.

Join us for an inspiring one-hour service where attendees will have the opportunity to hear the Torah Reading and the Shofar.

One-Hour services will take place throughout the day and are complimentary and open to all. RSVP is required.

Q: Is this a full Rosh Hashanah prayer service?

A: These are one-hour services focused on providing everyone with the opportunity to come and hear the Torah Reading and the Shofar and do not encompass the complete Rosh Hashanah prayer liturgy.

Q: Is there a charge to attend?

A: Services are complimentary, but advance reservations are required.

Q: Who is welcome?

A: Every jew is welcome. Whether you attend synagogue regularly, occasionally, or haven’t been in years, we look forward to welcoming you.

Q: Is the service Ashkenazi or Sephardic?

Our service brings together Ashkenazi and Sephardic traditions in one welcoming Rosh Hashanah experience.

Q: I just want to hear the shofar. When should I reserve?

A: To hear the shofar, please be sure to reserve a time slot on the second day of Rosh Hashanah. The Shofar is not sounded on Shabbat, and therefore will not be sounded on the first day of Rosh Hashanah this year.

Q: Can I reserve a High Holiday honor?

A: Yes. You may reserve an Aliyah to the Torah and Opening of the Ark for the Blessing of Parnassah (livelihood and success).

Q: Will there be Yom Kippur Services?

A: Yes. Yom Kippur service details will be published after Rosh Hashanah.
